Aloha everyone.
Last night I received an email from my sister telling me to search "infiltrating ductal adenocarcinoma" which I did. I email her back and asked who had it? This morning I received a return email that it is my mother. She is soon to be 83.
So what I would like to know is how to talk with a parent who may have a terminal illness. The next doctors appointment is this coming Wednesday. I have seen discussions here before on the the subject and learned from them. Obviously it is a little different when it is your own family member.
In particular I would hope to receive some guidance from women on Newsvine on what is acceptable and what does not help.
Everyone's guidance and suggestions is appreciated.
Mahalo,
